Being a runner is without a doubt one of the most exciting things about my life, and also one of my proudest achievements. When I am tackling an especially grueling terrain, I understand that not all trail running shoes will get the job done. That is why I couldn't wait to try out Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D Trail Running Shoe. Anyway, my research told me plenty about the shoe, and below are the highlights.
If you run on an aggressive terrain, this is one of the best shoes you can possibly own. I could guess this just from the shoe's bold looks, and my lofty expectations about the shoe turned out to be correct. The listed features are unlike what you will find on most running shoes, even those intended for trail running. For instance, the shoe features a proprietary 3D chassis, a contagrip traction outsole, and an endofit internal fit sleeve supposed to nestle your feet more snugly. The shoe is also unique in that it features a manmade sole. Therefore, you can expect to get great quality with your purchase.
What I Like
I had my doubts on the efficiency of the unique laces on this shoe, and for a moment, I thought this would be the only setback in an otherwise spectacular shoe. I am not saying that these laces don't give the shoe a certain appeal, I just didn't figure out they would be functional and innovative features that would make me glad to wear this pair of Salomon running shoes. This is one of the few times I have been glad I was wrong. The laces are very easy to use, and they hold up superbly. I thought they would loosen up after some running but they didn't.
Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D Trail Running Shoe features 3D technology. I'll explain. Salomon calls it a 3D chassis, and they claim that it helps with transition stability and flexibility. As I would later find out, this feature is a godsend for off-road runners. Because of this feature, your arch will be much more stable. Additionally, all your stability and cushioning for forward and downward movement of your foot will be well-handled, all thanks to the 3D chassis.
I usually have trouble with most running shoes, but usually not positive ones. With this shoe, I literally had trouble picking a favorite. There are eleven color choices, none of which won't make you want to own a pair of this shoe. The intricate highlights are not just for the upper with the XA Pro 3D Trail Running Shoe, but also for the sole and its stylish lugs. I am not afraid to admit that this will certainly be one of the most beautiful shoes most buyers will ever have owned.
My Only Major Concern
Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D Trail Running Shoe has everything going for it, if I may say so. So, it is hard to think of anything I did not like about the shoe. Still, I think you should be ready to pay up to own a pair of XA Pro 3D shoes. With the most affordable pair costing $80, and the most expensive version going for nearly 200 bucks, budget shoppers might feel inclined to look elsewhere.
All things considered, Salomon's Men's XA Pro 3D Trail Running Shoe is one of the shoes I would like to own for my trail running adventures. I don't see any good reason not to grab myself a pair soon.
