My Review Of Nike Men’s Air Force 1 ’07 Low Basketball Shoe

A little bit of basketball certainly gets my heart racing, and not just for the running, dribbling, and jumping. This is why I am always looking for a shoe that will allow me to indulge my love for this game and look good at the same time. Of course, in this world, Nike has an unassailable reputation, which is why I checked out their Men's Air Force 1 '07 Basketball Shoe to see what it was like. Here's what I found out:

I realized that the Air Force 1 '07 shoe will work out fine if you want a good casual shoe that also belongs in a basketball court. So, whether you are a player or just a devoted fan of the sport, this shoe is a great purchase. Still, they are a little heavy for serious basketball playing, but they will certainly do you some justice on the court. The problem is the heavy sole, which, surprisingly is one of the shoe's appeals because it makes them very durable. You see, this shoe will easily take two years of intensive use without falling apart.

What I Like

I liked that the shoe offers really great traction. The outsole rubber has been designed using great Nike Air technology that makes the shoes very effective on the basketball court as it will ensure you retain your stability as you jump around and do side-to-side movements. As an added benefit, the sole will not leave marks despite offering the firm grip required of a basketball shoe.

I like the balance on this shoe. Many shoes feel a little uneven when you are wearing them, even when they haven't been worn before. But these Nike shoes just feel perfect on the feet, which is great since most people will end up wearing them all day long anyway. This also makes them perfect for other sports as well, including a bit of running and tennis.

It was not apparent to me at first, but it turns out that this shoe is made using a leather upper. This proves just how well crafted this shoe is, and obviously confirms its great quality. You can bet that any shoe made using genuine leather is going to last. Of course, this means that the quality of this shoe is unlike what most lifestyle shoes out there have to offer.

What I Don't Like

If you are buying these shoes for basketball as the description states, you might be a little disappointed. Although the sole is thick, supportive, and full of traction, it is also a little heavy for the explosive maneuvers of a basketball court. In a sport where your shoe is supposed to help you move faster and jump higher, or at least stay out of your way, this shoe falls a little short because it is a little heavy. Otherwise, if you are buying it for any other reason besides prolonged basketball playing, then you are good to go.

I noticed that these shoes do not come cheap. You have to fork out at least $70 for a pair, for some color options, you will need at least 100 bucks. That is not exactly cheap. Even so, they are totally worth it given their stunning looks, comfort and durability.

As far as great sporty lifestyle shoes go, Nike Men's Air Force 1 '07 Basketball Shoes are now among my favorites. I can certainly see myself getting a pair the next time I do my shopping.
